Wire Transfer

A wire transfer is a quick way to move funds between accounts at different financial institutions. You could also use our mobile app's Pay a Friend feature to send money to yourself or a friend. Learn more or download the Town and Country CU App.

Outgoing Wire

If you are sending an outgoing wire, please call or stop by one of our offices for more information. View a list of locations. 

To ensure you've gathered the required information to complete your outgoing wire, review our checklists below for domestic and international outgoing wires. 

Checklist for sending a domestic wire:

  • Your Information
    • Name, account number, and address (no PO Box allowed)
  • Payee Information
    • Name, account number, and address (no PO Box allowed)
  • Transfer Information
    • Transfer amount, additional wire instructions, and date to transfer 
  • Receiving Financial Institution Information 
    • Bank name and routing number (ABA)

Checklist for sending an international wire:

  • Your Information
    • Name, account number, and address (no PO Box allowed)
  • Payee Information
    • Name, account number, and address (no PO Box allowed)
  • Transfer Information
    • Transfer amount, additional wire instructions, and date to transfer 
  • Receiving Financial Institution Information 
    • Bank name and address, bank country, SWIFT code, and intermediary bank SWIFT code
