Town & Country Credit Union is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors elected by the credit union's membership. The Board members, each representing a designated region of our membership, are charged with setting the credit union's policies and overall goals.

In early March, the membership voted to:

  1. Re-elect Lars Christensen to fill the Kenmare seat (three-year term). Lars Christensen is a Kenmare native and area farmer with a bachelor's degree from North Dakota State University. He has been an active volunteer in the Kenmare area for decades and first joined the Board in 2024.

  2. Re-elect Jan Repnow to fill a Minot seat (three-year term). Jan is a Ray, ND native and longtime business educator with 40 years of teaching experience, including 17 years at Minot State University. An active community volunteer and education leader, she first joined the Board in 2025 and resides in Minot.

Later that month, the Board held its reorganization meeting to elect the Executive Committee for the next year.

  1. Kalvin Larson was elected Board Chair. A member of the Board since 2024, Kalvin is a Minot native, lifelong Town & Country Credit Union member, and Minot State University graduate. He serves as Vice President, Williston Basin at Creedence Energy Services and is actively involved in several Minot-area community organizations.

  2. Wendy Loucks was elected Vice Chair. A Rugby, ND native and Fargo resident, Wendy joined the Board in 2024. Now quasi-retired, she holds a law degree from the Nebraska College of Law and spent her career as an FBI Special Agent and Chief Legal Advisor. She is also an active member of the Cass County Electric Co-Op Board.

  3. Curtis Smith was elected Secretary/Treasurer. Curtis is a US Air Force officer currently serving as a B-52 pilot at the Minot Air Force Base. A member of the Board since 2024, he holds a bachelor's degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy and is a graduate of the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training program.
