For more than 25 years, the Town & Country Credit Union team has proudly volunteered time to support the Horn of Plenty program in Minot. This year, we spent two days collecting and sorting toys for local children during the holiday season. In the end, we were honored to fill the remaining spots and donate more than $3,500 worth of toys, helping 277 families and 1,050 children enjoy a brighter Christmas. Being part of a community that comes together to support families in need is truly a privilege, and we are grateful to everyone who makes Horn of Plenty possible.

The Horn of Plenty Program has a rich history of giving back. Since its inception in 1984, it has delivered food, toys, and ministry gifts to over 12,000 families across more than 75 communities. What began with a goal to assist just 25 families quickly revealed the true extent of local needs, with the first year ending up helping 84 families instead. Over the decades, the program has grown into a vital community resource, providing two weeks of food to more than 1,000 people in 2023 alone, including 400 families and between 500 to 750 children under the age of 17.

At Town & Country Credit Union, serving our community is at the heart of everything we do. Programs like Horn of Plenty remind us that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. We are proud to be part of a tradition that brings joy to children, helps families feel cared for, and strengthens our community.
