Town & Country Credit Union is proud to support the Kenmare Country Club with a $5,000 donation toward their new irrigation project. The club is undertaking a major upgrade to replace its decades-old irrigation system, originally installed in the 1970s. With a total project cost of $400,000, the country club is working hard to raise funds through community support, contributions from local businesses, and other resources.
The Kenmare Country Club is a cherished part of the community, offering a well-maintained 9-hole grass green course that serves as a gathering place for residents and visitors alike. The course hosts multiple tournaments each year, helping fund operations. While it employs a small staff, a groundskeeper and a couple of clubhouse attendants, the club is largely volunteer run, a testament to the dedication and passion of its supporters.
“As a credit union deeply rooted in North Dakota communities, we believe in investing in projects that strengthen the places our members call home,” said Kalli Schell, CEO/President of Town & Country Credit Union. “The Kenmare Country Club is more than just a golf course, it’s a community asset enjoyed by many, including several of our members and past board members. We’re proud to support its continued success.”
Town & Country Credit Union understands the importance of supporting local projects that bring people together and strengthen small towns. Many of our members, regularly use and enjoy the course. By contributing $5,000 to the irrigation project, we’re not just helping improve the golf course, we’re investing in a valued community asset that enhances quality of life in Kenmare.
We’re proud to stand with other local businesses in supporting the future of the Kenmare Country Club and the community it serves.
