At Town & Country Credit Union, we're proud to offer a faster way to pay! With Mobile Wallet, you can make purchases at thousands of retail stores with your smartphone, tablet, or smartwatch.

We offer a direct connection to your Town & Country Credit Union debit card and credit card through Apple Pay®, Google Pay®, Samsung Pay®  and Garmin PayTM.       

What is Mobile Wallet?

Mobile Wallet is a virtual wallet that securely stores your card information on your mobile device in a digital format. Think of your plastic cards in your phone instead of your purse or back pocket.

Why Mobile Wallet?

  • Save Time: Complete a transaction in seconds.
  • Convenience: Digitally store multiple cards, debit or credit, on your mobile device.
  • Rewards: Get notified when coupons are about to expire and rack up rewards points or discounts at participating retailers.
  • Secure: Each transaction generates a 15-16 digit number sequence, reducing the risk of your card being compromised.

In addition to the benefits listed, making purchases using your Town & Country debit card via Mobile Wallet will count towards your required Star Rewards swipes. If you are an EZ2 Save user, those purchases will still round up and transfer the difference to your savings account. Plus, you'll continue to earn cash back or rewards points when making Mobile Wallet purchases with your Town & Country Signature credit card.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I set a default card in my Mobile Wallet?

The first card you add to your Mobile Wallet will automatically become your default card. To change your default card, follow these steps:

  • Apple Pay: Go to Settings – Wallet & Apple Pay and scroll down to Transaction Defaults. Visit Default Card and choose a card from your list.
  • Google Pay: Open Google Pay and tap on “Cards.” Select the card you’d like as your default card and click “Set as Default.”
  • Samsung Pay: Open Samsung Pay, tap on your preferred card to view the back side of the card and then select “Set as Default Card.”

How do I access Apple Pay from my device’s locked screen?

To set up “double tap access” go to Settings – Wallet – Apple Pay and turn the switch to “allow access when locked.” You will then be able to access Apple Pay by double clicking the home button or the lock button (depending on device) while it is locked.

What happens if I lose my device?

Call Town & Country at 1-800-872-6358 and we will deactivate your token, canceling the card in your Mobile Wallet. Your physical card will remain active. Once you’ve located your mobile device, call us again to activate the token to continue using Mobile Wallet.

What happens if I get a new device?

You will need to add your debit and/or credit cards to the device’s Mobile Wallet again.

What happens if the POS doesn’t light up blue when I am trying to pay using Mobile Wallet?

    Ask the cashier if their terminal supports contactless cards. If so, let them know you’re planning to pay via Mobile Wallet.

    Can I make an in-store return using Mobile Wallet?

    Yes. Give the merchant your receipt and they will start processing the return. When asked for the credit card you used, use your Mobile Wallet just as you did to pay to process the refund.

    Does Mobile Wallet work with Town & Country HSA Debit Cards?

    Yes! All Town & Country Credit Union personal debit, credit and HSA cards are compatible with Mobile Wallet.

    What is the Express Transit Card in my Apple Mobile Wallet?

    This payment feature is available for subways and public transportation in larger cities such as New York City and Portland.

    What is the Apple Cash Card that is in my Mobile Wallet?

    The Apple Cash Card is a reloadable debit card through Green Dot Bank.

    Get Started

    1. Most phones come with a mobile wallet pre-downloaded. If not, download the Mobile Wallet app from your app store.
    2. Add your debit and/or credit card information into the Mobile Wallet.
    3. Access and scan your card within Mobile Wallet to pay at participating merchants.

    Apple Pay®

    Setting up Apple Pay® is simple! Watch this video or follow the steps to get started:

    How to Set Up Apple Pay:

    1. Ensure your iPhone® has the latest version of IOS 8.
    2. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone and tap on the plus sign in the upper right hand corner. Click continue. If the Wallet app isn't downloaded on your device, visit the App Store® and search "Wallet"
    3. Add your Town & Country credit or debit card information by taking a picture of the desired card. You can also enter the card information manually.
    4. Verify your card information that populates on the next screen. Click next.
    5. Enter the card's expiration date and 3-digit CVV security code (found on the back of the card). Click next.
    6. You may be prompted to call Town & Country Credit Union to verify your card with Apple Pay.
    7. Once verified, you're all set to utilize Apple Pay to make purchases in store or within apps.

    Google Pay®

    Setting up and using Google Pay® is simple! Check out this video to get started:

    Here's the 5 easy steps to get you started: 

    1. Make sure your device is running Android Lillipop (5.0) or higher. 
    2. Download the Google Pay app from the app store. 
    3. Follow the setup instructions provided and add your Town & Country credit or debit card information when prompted. 
    4. You will be prompted to call Town & Country Credit Union to verify your card with Google Pay. 
    5. Once verified, you're ready to make purchases utilizing Google Pay.

    Samsung Pay®

    Getting started with Samsung Pay® is quick and simple. Follow the steps: 

    1. Download the Samsung Pay app to your device. 
    2. You'll need a Samsung account to utilize Samsung Pay. To create an account, navigate to the settings menu on your device. Click on "Accounts and Backup" and then "add account". After you've created an account, navigate back to the Samsung Pay app and log in. 
    3. Tap "Add credit/debit card" and enter your Town & Country credit or debit card credentials and agree to the terms and conditions provided. 
    4. You will be prompted to call Town & Country Credit Union to verify your card with Samsung Pay. 
    5. Once verified, you'll have instant access to Samsung Pay on your selected device.

    Garmin Pay™

    Getting started with Garmin Pay™ is quick and simple. Follow the steps: 

    1. Download the Garmin Connect™ app to your smartphone. 
    2. Open the Garmin Connect™ app on your phone and select your watch in the device list.
    3. Select Garmin Pay™ and then Create Your Wallet.
    4. Create a 4-digit passcode to keep the wallet on your watch secure.
    5. Select Visa® and then enter your Town & Country credit or debit card credentials and agree to the terms and conditions provided. 
    6. You may be prompted to verify your card via email, text or phone call. You’ll only have to do this once.
    7. Once verified, you'll have instant access to Garmin Pay™ on your phone and watch.
    8. To use Garmin Pay™ on your watch, select the Wallet icon and then type in your passcode. Once your wallet is open, your last used card will automatically appear. To switch to a different card, scroll to the next one.
