At Town & Country Credit Union we value and show deep respect for the communities in which we live and work. We contribute positively to our communities through volunteering, networking, philanthropic giving, education and more with a goal of positively improving the lives of those we serve.
We have received reports of fraudulent phone calls being made to local phone numbers in an attempt to obtain personal confidential information. The caller ID is falsely displaying our name and 1-800 number. These phone calls are part of a scam where fraudsters attempt to obtain personal information from individuals.
If someone calls you from Town & Country Credit Union and asks you to provide personal information, do not respond. Instead hang up and call the credit union at 1-800-872-6358. We will be able to confirm if an employee from the credit union was actually reaching out to you or if the call was a scam.
We will never call you and ask for confidential information. As your credit union we have your information on file and would not be reaching out to get information we already have.
Avoid becoming the victim of a scam:
- Do not provide confidential information to anyone who is contacting you on the phone, via email or through fax..
- Contact the credit union immediately if you have responded or provided information in one of these ways.
- Monitor your account and transactions through TCCU Online or the Town and Country CU mobile app regularly.
- Contact the credit union if you find any unauthorized or suspicious transactions.
